METS Text Pager is designed to fulfill MSHA PPL
communications requirements on the sections
and in the escapeways. The Text Pager transmits
messages and receives text messages from other
text pagers and any METS workstation. It also has
the ability to receive AMS, Belt and Reader status
information. This new product and others, like the
lower cost single-port node and wireless node,
allow Matrix to provide lower cost tracking and
communications systems to operators.
