.NET Application Developer
Matrix Design Group is seeking an EE, CompE or Computer Science graduate who is passionate about developing .NET software for large scale real-time visualization systems. This team member would be responsible for design, development, testing and deployment of new applications and maintenance of existing applications. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on multiple underground mining safety product systems ranging from communications and tracking to environmental monitoring systems. Applicant must be a self-starter with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work alone or in a small team. In addition, the applicant must possess the ability to adapt well to changing priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
Qualifications / Skills
- BS in EE, CompE or Computer Science
- C# familiarity is a must
- SQL Server (2008 preferred)
- Recent graduates will be considered
Beneficial Experience
- Database design and programming
- .NET Framework
- Graphical User Interface design and programming (Windows Forms, WPF and Silverlight)
- Web Interfaces (AJAX)
- Team Foundation Server Environment
- Automated testing (Test Driven Development)
- Familiar with OO design and development practices
- Experience with inter-process communications
