His responsibilities include project leadership, system concept development and detailed design of automation control systems that include programmable logic controller, motor controls (drives) and operator interface systems. These involve machine and process system design and specifying equipment through design, fabrication, software development, installation, commissioning, and training. Mr. Pryor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Mr. Beck has 15+ years of Automation System Design, Implementation and Project Management Experience in the Manufacturing, Automotive, Electronics, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, and Mining industries. His responsibilities include systems concept, development, design and implementation. His system designs included programmable logic controllers, robotics, vision systems, motor controls (drives), operator interface systems, motion control (servo drives), process testing systems and DCS.  Mr. Beck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering form ITT Tech.

David Clardy

Senior Vice President - Products

David Clardy has many years of coal industry and information technology experience. Prior to his current position, Mr. Clardy held the positions of Manager of Application Services and Sr. Network Engineer for Alliance Coal. As Manager of Application Services, Mr. Clardy completed several strategic projects, turned around a key vendor relationship, and improved internal customer satisfaction. Mr. Clardy was instrumental in recruiting key team members in order to position the department for near-term challenges. Mr. Clardy holds certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, PMG, and Citrix and has significant IP telephony experience. Mr. Clardy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University and an MBA degree from the University of Tulsa.

Blaine Cooper

Director - Products Group

Mr. Cooper leads the company’s Product Management, Manufacturing, IT and Customer Support organizations.  He has many years of experience in the areas of product management, account management, business development, professional services, and engineering with start-up and Fortune 500 technology companies. He has industry experience in enterprise software, semiconductor equipment, consumer software, and industrial controls.  Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

He serves as project management consultant with extensive experience in project planning, cost and schedule management, and requirements analysis. Mr. Harding holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Indiana, Evansville.

Tracy Hayford

Director  -  Technology and Development

 
Mr. Hayford has 30+ years of engineering, systems design, project management and product development experience in the manufacturing, metals, plastics, material handling, water system and mining industries. Prior to joining Matrix, Mr. Hayford managed large capital projects for a major aluminum producer, led a multi-discipline engineering team, supervised plant start-ups as a consulting engineer and provided technical design and project management for aluminum rolling mill drive system and mill control upgrades.  His responsibilities include leadership of new product development, system architecture and technology, and software development.  He has helped direct Matrix Design Group to successful development and deployment of first and second generation miner tracking and communications systems to a significant portion of the mining community.  Mr. Hayford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Craig Money

Project Manager

Mr. Money has many years of Automation Systems Design and Project Management Experience in the Manufacturing, Metals, Plastics, Material Handling, Food and Beverage, and Mining industries. His responsibilities include project leadership and management, system concept development and detailed design of power distribution and automation control systems that include programmable logic controller, motor controls (VFD’s and soft starters) and operator interface systems. These involve machine and process system design and specifying equipment through design, fabrication, software development, installation, commissioning, and training. Since 2008, he has managed the entire electrical design/construction/installation of new coal mines in Kentucky and West Virginia. Mr. Money holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Indiana State University.

Robby Watson

Director of Technology Services

Mr. Watson has years of experience in Automation Systems Design, Project Management, and Maintenance in the Manufacturing and Mining Industries. His responsibilities include project leadership, system concept development and design of automation control systems - PLC's, VFD's, robotics, and operator interface systems. Mr. Watson also supervises machine and process system specification, design, installation, commissioning, training, and long term maintenance management through preventive maintenance plan creation and execution. Before joining Matrix, Mr. Watson was an important part of the team that completed the first (and largest) MINER Act-compliant mine in the United States.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Evansville.
