EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER


Matrix Design Group is seeking an embedded software developer who is passionate about developing software for resource-constrained platforms.  This team member would be responsible for every phase of the software development process, from initial requirement generation to final system verification. The candidate will have to opportunity to work on multiple underground mining safety products ranging from handheld digital voice radios to environmental sensors. Applicant must be a self-starter with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work closely with hardware engineers.

Qualifications

  • BS in CS, CompE, or EE
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Excellent C/C++ development skills
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and datasheets
  • Strong testing and debugging skills
  • Real-time or interrupt driven software development experience
  • SPI, I2C, and/or USB interfacing experience
  • AVR, ARM9/11, or Cortext-A8 architecture experience
  • SVN source control management
  • Embedded Linux development experience
